TERMS OF SERVICE

HOW TO COMMISSION ME

  1. Please read through all the information on this page and check my prices are within your budget.

  2. Fill in the form to receive a quote, the more information you provide the more accurate the price will be.

  3. If you are happy with the quote, you are required to pay at least half the quote price upfront before any work will begin.

  4. Please keep in mind that your spot is not guaranteed until you have paid at least half the quote price.

  5. By Commissioning me you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, and I do not take any responsibility if you have not read them.

MAIN TERMS

  • The artist will only start the commission once payment is received.

  • Base prices are subject to change based on the complexity, difficulty and any other information you provide.​

  • If the client fails to provide the appropriate information, descriptions, reference images, sketches, notes etc, then the client's commission may result in rejection or an additional design fee.​

  • The artist has the right to refuse any commission request.

  • Commissions are not first come first serve, Spots are only reserved for commissioners who have paid at least half the quote price upfront, the artist reserves the right to only take on commissions they are willing and able to complete at the time, therefore it is in your best interest to make your inquiries as detailed as possible as inquires that are blank or has minimal or missing information will be refused.

  • The artist will not create anything containing offensive material. Ie commissions depicting illegal activities and/or hateful/sexist/racist imagery will be rejected. If unsure, please ask within your inquiry.

  • The client may not redistribute, reproduce, resell or profit from the artwork without permission or a commercial license.​​

  • The artist is not responsible for printing the commission, the client must purchase the cost of printing separately.​

  • The artist reserves the right to showcase commissions to their portfolio and social media accounts if they so choose.​​

  • The artist does not give permission for their work to be used as an NFT.

TIME & SPECS

  • Commissions on average are completed within 1-3 weeks but please allow more time for more complex designs.

  • Please allow for extra time if you are not based in the UK due to time zone differences there will be delays in communication.

  • Please make sure to check your email frequently (at least once a day), if you are slow to reply that will delay the process.

  • If the client fails to reply to emails after 3 or more days, depending on how far into the commission we are, your commission will be moved to the back of the queue.

  • All completed commissions will be delivered via e-mail.

  • Changes can not be made after the work is completed and the client has received the high-resolution files via email.

PAYMENT

  • Full or half payment is required upfront, no exceptions. The commission will only begin once payment is received via my website.

  • The client will receive an invoice with a quoted price for the commission if the client wishes to make changes or additions to the commission the quoted price will change accordingly.

  • All prices are expressed in GBP, £, Pound Sterling,
    payments are expected to be made in GBP.
    It is the client's responsibility to send the correct amount, equal to the listed GBP amount.​

  • If the client is commissioning multiple pieces, the client can choose to pay the full amount for the entire project upfront or can pay in smaller instalments over a set period of time.

  • All quote prices for the original invoice regarding licencing will be charged 20% unless new information about standard pricing for the use of the project is presented to the artist/illustrator. The Artist reserves the right to amend the original quote based on the industry-standard prices for the licence type in the UK.

  • Donations and tips outside of commissions are appreciated.

COPYRIGHT

  • All commissioned works created by the artist are solely owned by the artist therefore the artist may use the work:
    To promote and advertise their business.
    Display the work on their social accounts, or website.

  • The client may:
    Use the copyrighted work for personal use
    Print the work for personal use.
    Clain the rights to any ideas or Characters that belong to them, but not the work itself.
    Resize or crop the work to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics for personal use.
    The client is not allowed to sell or use the work for profit or commercial use.
    The client is not allowed to alter or tamper with the work or remove my signature.

  • If the client wishes to purchase the rights to the commission they can be negotiated for an added fee. If the commissioned image will be used for commercial purposes, the client must notify the artist prior to the start of work. Commercial use of images will be decided upon on a case-by-case basis and will result in an increased commission rate. If necessary, new terms of service may also be decided upon before the artist can begin any work on a commission for commercial use.

  • The following is considered copyright infringement:

  • Reproducing/using the copyrighted work commercially.

  • Taking credit for the creation of the work.

  • Removing watermarks/signatures.

  • Altering/ Tampering with the work without the artist's consent.

COMMERCIAL USE

  • If interested in using the artist’s work for commercial purposes ie for-profit including but not limited to, advertising, promotion, publications, t-shirts, etc.), please specify within your inquiry.

  • Additional information will be provided upon response. If the client wishes to license the artist’s artwork, please contact via email. A differentiated version of these terms will apply to licensed works, and be decided upon on a case-by-case basis.
